i think that in the guitar hero 5 game they should have more songs by the doors, ac/dc, black sabbath, led zeppelin, judas priest, slayer, jimi hendrix, van halen, iron maiden and other good classic rock bands and well known and well liked metal bands but please try to avoid hair metal.

first off i gotta holla @ fdsafda about how a7x isn’t even close to ure godamn expectations of the “THE GREATEST AND MOST ROCKING GREATEST METAL BANDS OF ALL TIME”. i agree with you that shelby should shut the hell up bout classic rock crap,but a7x has evolved from a metalhead type of band to a metallica sort of tribute band. they now have some actual singing and they scream alot less. the whole band has matured and its time that they stopped underating them
as far as some guitar hero 5 songs go please don’t put some stupid songs like creep by radiohead or float on by whatever that stupid bands name is. Please think of more mixed pace songs with a nice uptempo solo. my suggestions are: Black Sabbath- Ironman (live), Stairway to Heaven-guns n roses, pain-jimmy eat world, voices-rev theory, and watever else the people choose as far as i’m concered. Also bring avenged sevenfold back to guitar hero. Rock Band stole them from guitar hero. they brought them in with beast and the harlot on guitar hero 2. so my recommendations is scream, bat country, unholy confessions, and seize the day all by a7x. put like 2 or 3 of them on downloadable content though because i wanna seem as unbias as possiblE…GO A7X!!!HAHAHA

I know alot of people say Green Day are rubbish but it is obvious that everyone likes them or has at least one song that they like. The chances of Green Day ever being in Guitar Hero are slim because they don’t want to be in it. I would love to see them release Guitar Hero Green Day. now that would be a great game. I’m sure if Green Day wanted to be in the game then it would of happened by now cos they are legends regardless of what all of you say. 70 million record sales proves that. That more than the likes of The Sex Pistols, Sum41, Blink182, Dragonforce, The Living End plus many more who have all featured in the game so far. it would be hard to believe that they don’t want Green Day on the game

What I have to ask you Jack is do you like Famous bands because why do you want bands that are not even famous at all except for maybe in Australia. Hey that is awesome that Toxicity is going to be on the Metallica Guitar Hero. I put down Fuel and For whom the bell tolls before I seen the Metallica guitar hero song list. One by metallica I know is already on Guitar hero 3 but I meant to say that if they have it again it should be for singing and drums as well. Same for Smoke on the water, Godzilla, Iron Man, strutter, Ain’t nothing but a good time, Metal health, and Wrathchild should have singing and drums. Jack well I do know that you do like some famous bands but can you make a big list of all the famous bands that you like and the songs to those bands that you like. Be really awesome if you can. I also know that it would be kind of dumb to put those songs again but they did not have the lyrics to sing the song or did they have to where you can play the drums for the songs that I mentioned.

I know that Green Day for the last few years have refused to be on Guitar Hero simple cos they dont want their music on these video games but they have a new album out in May and ive heard the title track “21st century Breakdown”. I think Activision should do all they can to get atleast one song on the game or even have a downloadable song pack. If they wanna make money then thats the way to do it. First off, stop having bands that are terrible and have nothing to do with guitar hero. Stop with the scene bands, and stop bashing the bands that gave you what you now enjoy as music. Also, nearly none of the bands listed are any good. Avenged Sevenfold isn’t that great, they are overrated, (the drummer is the only one with any potential in the band, wasted on commercial talent)
Metallica is ok, but please… most of you will be going through your metallica phase until you are introduced to good bands. (I won’t argue metallica isn’t good for a gateway band into good metal, and only really the first four albums, but the rest of their stuff is terrible.) Hell, is there ANYONE who cares for the classics? People posting crap like “drowning pool- let the bodies hit the floor” need to understand how bad those kind of acts are. Its not even poser metal because to say it is would argue that those acts were some sort of imitation of something good, which it isn’t. Its pissing me off that you are grouping some good acts with some of the ****tiest bands ive seen in years. I want some of these good bands to get the attention they deserve, I don’t want megadeth Testamant and Pantera on the same list as Fall out boy and Seether. Numetal and popish rock need to go. I like the idea of good bands becoming household names, but not at the risk of seeing good bands come along with terrible acts. I’d rather good bands be obscure than have some no talent hack rock band tarnish something that was good to begin with.

no wonder bad songs always end up on guitar hero….i see people requesting pretty horrible songs….i’ll be fine with whatever as long as they don’t put songs from other countries around the world that sound nothing like rock or metal music and hopefully they don’t waste space by putting those songs they made themselves using the built in studio. i hope no one plays those…in a perfect world i wish guitar hero would sign agreements with record labels of all kinds of music and let them sell their songs through xbox live or whatever system you play on. it would be advertising for all kinds of music and ppl would get to buy and play exactly what they want. just pick a record label you like and any band on that label would have their own songs to purchase to play. maybe one day:D

What I want is guitar hero to bring back rhythm like in GH2 and GH3. Bass lines are usaully REALLY boring. If you ever played online in GHWT every one complanes when they have to do bass. GH2 and GH3 had really fun co-op song like thourgh the fire and flames and free bird. The backup guitarist wasn’t bored out of he’s skull and they were both doing parts of the guiter solo. What im saying is BRING BACK RHYTHM!!! and kick out the bass tour. No body wants to do a ficken bass tour!!! They should stick to Guitar,drums and vocals tours. If you want to play bass go to quick play.
