Activision has announced to plans to release Guitar Hero 5 for the PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii. The game is slated for an earlier release date than prior years, with it scheduled to come out on September 1, 2009.

it’ll probably be released in October like the last two. I predict it will with just the game, the guitar, which will probably have some new feature to it and the band bundle. I imagine that the mic will stay the same, the drums, I’m not sure what they might do to those. probably cost around 200$ for band bundle. They might do like a double neck guitar thing. As for the guitar battles, I think that a david gilmour battle is long overdue

The games needs to include more under-the-radar bands like Yellowcard (“Lights and Sounds” and “Rough Landing Holly” have to be on the game!), Saving Abel, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus (“Face Down” cannot be passed up on the GH5 song list), Rev Theory (“Hell Yeah” might be the greatest rock song ever!!!), The Answer, and Story of the Year. Some other bands that need to be on the game are Shinedown, Alter Bridge, Nickelback, Buckcherry, Avenged Sevenfold, Papa Roach, Hoobastank (“My Turn” is definitely their best song), Rise Against, Seether, Breaking Benjamin, Fall Out Boy, Hinder, Three Days Grace, and Green Day.

guys, i’m a pretty emo kid as far as music goes and why not adding some UnderOATH, Chiodos, more Attack Attack!, or at least one Atreyu song? Seriously guys i mean there is nothing on these games for screamo and mostly its kids my age 13-18 playing these games and thats whats popular. if u saw the crowds around these bands at Warped Tour you’d know exactly what i’m talking about. Forget all these old songs everybody has heard a million times on the radio and get some new stuff.
I think you guys should add def lepperd, puddle of mudd, queen, beatles, and a red hot chili peppers guitar hero game with just there music.
